Sorry for disappearing for a few days again. Woke up Wednesday with a numb arm and an overload of anxiety and panic about pretty much everything ever. Couldn't go to my morning class that day because of it. Managed to go to my Wed night class, though, and am glad I did. We reviewed for our midterm and got the questions for it. The midterm is just writing two short essays in class, and he already gave us the questions. On Thursday I was feeling better enough to go to my riding class. I rode Zanga, a dapple grey about 15.3hh (ish). He was very responsive and forward, a welcome change from Chester. He also loves to toss his head, so much so that we almost fell over a couple times because he just would not stop. I am supposed to be riding him again on Tuesday, and am looking forward to it. I had my Equine Facilities Management midterm that afternoon, and am pretty confident that I did well on it. That evening, Dragon Age Girl came over and we threw a pizza in the oven and even made a small cake! The Duncan Hines Perfect Size cakes are so delicious. Every one I have made so far has tasted amazing (except the icing, get a jar instead).
Friday I spent most of the day hanging around and studying for my history midterm. Today, Saturday, as my 4th and final practicum day for the semester. The weather was rather nice, in the high fifties all day. My project for the day was scrubbing feed pans in South Aisle (approximately 35 stalls/feed pans). They were absolutely disgusting and desperately needed it. I also did a bunch of handwalks (for rehab and retired horses) and thrush treatments in the afternoon. Overall, it was a nice day and a good way to wrap up my practicum days.
On the gaming front, I have recently started replaying Dishonored. I got the Definitive Edition on PS4 for pretty cheap. I have been replaying on Normal, aiming for the good ending. I plan to go for a nonlethal runthrough afterward, then a powerless runthrough after that. It is one of my top 5 favorite games, and has been there since it came out. I love everything about it, and am so excited that there is going to be a sequel. Between Dishonored 2 and Styx 2, I am going to be pretty busy later this year! I also found The Tale of Despereaux on DS and started playing it. It seems cute so far, but I'm a bit surprised by how different the story is. It is one of my all time favorite books, and why they would change it so much perplexes me.
In reading news, I have recently begun to read Watership Down (Richard Adams). A friend of mine loves it and is letting me borrow it over the next couple of weeks so that I can read it. So far it seems like a nice little story about rabbits. It reminds me a bit of Peter Rabbit, but with a little more grown up of a tone. I am interested to read more.
In tv shows, I finished Ugly Betty a few days ago. I was a bit unhappy with the ending, but I will take it. I liked the ending as it related to the show's beginning. For the most aprt, I didn't much care for season 3. Overall, however, I liked the show. Once I finished it I decided to try Finding Carter. I am not impressed at all with it, but then I expected as much. It is your typical teen drama with romances destroying friendships, drugs, teen rebellion, and teen pregnancy. I think the writing is actually pretty great, it is just not my type of show. I am not sure what I will watch next, but I only have 3 episodes left in season 2, so I need to decide soon.
Well, I've been up since 6am, and it is now past midnight. My back and feet both hurt tremendously and are telling me that I should get to bed, so I think I shall comply.

Update: 3:30am and I'm still up, courtesy of the drunken asshats on campus. Thanks for pissing outside my window instead of in the open field ten steps to your right. Thanks for having a screaming match with your now ex boyfriend and now ex side guy on the sidewalk outside. Thanks for informing the whole building your underage friend just scored another keg. Thanks for all of that and so much more. The whole building appreciates it. Now I suggest you leave because yes, I called security.
I fucking hate being surrounded by drunken children.
