Another night, another update.

Today was long and unpleasant. Woke up feeling iffy. Felt incredibly nauseous off and on during my morning class. No idea why. Went away when I got back around 1, but only for about 2 hours. I managed to get some work done during that time, but when I tried to eat something small it hit again, and hard. Ended up emailing my history professor to let him know I wouldn't be in class tonight. I really don't like missing it, especially since it's the one I'm most concerned about, but I knew I wouldn't be able to make it through class. And on top of everything, there is a huge storm raging outside.

Spent quite a while just laying around and watching Ugly Betty. I admit, I binge shows. I prefer shows that are done and over, so I can watch start to finish and move on. I have been trying to find a half-hour sitcom on Hulu or Netflix that is at least hallfway interesting, but so far have come up pretty empty. Instead, I'm watching Ugly Betty, which is pretty amusing so far, I have to say. I prefer half hour shows, though, so I can watch them when I fall asleep without missing too much. If anyone knows any good shows on Hulu or Netflix, let me know! I'm always looking for recommendations.

Played a bit more Styx: Master of Shadows again tonight. I officially passed the halfway mark in the game... after like 20+ hours of gameplay, hahahahaha. I'm terrible at stealth and tend to get caught an awful lot. I also spend an absurd amount of time getting up to shenanigans, like hiding in pots, holding auctions for pots, and piling up my victims... I had a pile of 11 guards today. That's a new record for me!

Anyway, short post for a dull day. Hopefully whatever is going on with me is done by morning. I want to ride tomorrow!

I don't watch many comedies, I'm not a big fan of them myself. But the Office (US, never tried the UK version) is always a good one. You can take it as seriously or as lightly as you want. Pretty lengthy in terms of seasons too, I usually use reality shows for my Netflix background noise since that's my bottom line of investment, but for those sorts of things I like them to have a lot of seasons so I don't have to worry about finding stuff for a while.

Stealth games are a fairly recent enjoyment of mine. A lot of modern games with "stealth elements" are a really good gateway. Assassin's Creed, the Last of Us, Uncharted (very minimal stealth, but it really tests your skill since there's no way to lose the enemies and get out of "action" mode if you get spotted) all helped me hone my skills until I felt comfortable enough to get into Metal Gear Solid. Oh, also horror games, particularly the kind that lack combat and thus have more sneaking, Outlast is a good one for that.

To be honest, I prefer horror over comedy, by far, haha. I prefer comedy for background noise when doing work or trying to sleep so I don't pay too much attention, and it doesn't get too loud. Plus, shows last longer than just a couple of hours.

I really enjoyed The Office (US)! It had some not as good times, but I liked the early seasons. I might look into the UK version for a new take.

I've never been terribly great at stealth games, but I do usually enjoy the challenge. Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood was the first stealth-type game I really spent time on and it got me hooked on the genre. As much as I am liking Styx, I do have to say I'm not a big fan of the combat mode. If you get too close and are spotted it locks you in to combat and it's really not worth trying to fight back, I've found. I have Outlast on PS4, but haven't gotten around to it. I really enjoyed the Penumbra games, though.
